BROOKLYN PUNKS

History:

6/93 - Steve from the Denied approached Todd (who was then was in
Warning) about forming a band that was faster and heavier than the typical
'77 pogo - oi! style which was innundating the East Coast at the time.
The die was cast. The original Distraught lineup consisted of Steve -Bass/Vox,
Todd - Guitar/Vox and Hammy (also of the Denied) - Drums . Distraught played many
gigs at ABC No Rio with the likes of Dirt, Varukers, Hiatus, etc. The Denied
broke up 6 months later because of internal conflicts. Huckleberry moved
back to New York after the demise of Hellspawn (Mn.) and took up the empty
drum slot after Hammy left.
